Here is a list of anniversary activities that will be held this year. Additional information found at

April 5th Boardwalk Ball– at the Ridge Club – DISCO themed night of dancing and dining. Tickets are $70 per person. For more information:

April 26th Daffodil Festival– 10am-4pm to be held at Oakcrest Cove Field off Quaker Meetinghouse Rd. – Featuring Live Music of all genres, food trucks, local artists and vendors, Kids Crafts, Garden Tent with Juried Show, Daffodil Sale, and Gardening Talks. For more information:

April 27th Ronan Tynan Concert– 3-5pm in the Sandwich High School Auditorium on Quaker Meetinghouse Rd. – The “Irish Tenor” Ronan Tynan will be performing, tickets on sale now ($29-$69)! For more information:

May 17th BASH Day 1600’s– 10-4pm in Sandwich Village- Open House of the Grist Mill, Hoxie House, and Quaker Meetinghouse. There will be historical figures throughout town and demonstrations to help bring the 1600’s to the present. For more information:

June 14th Heritage Day– 9:30am at the Henry T. Wing School on Water Street. Kicked off with the March of the Descendants, a parade of descendants of first families in Sandwich. Followed by more festivities at Sandwich High School including photographic and cupcake competitions, an appearance by Wally the Green Monster, and a Cape Cod Baseball League Game.

June 15th Heritage Hey Day– 10am-5pm at Heritage Museums and Gardens- Celebrate Heritage Museum and Gardens 45th anniversary! The fun includes musical performances, family lawn games, potato sack races, big bug sculptures. Activities free with admission. Sandwich residents and Dad’s admitted free!

June 21st  BASH Day 1700’s–  9:45am in Sandwich Village- Historical re-enactments, Horse Drawn Wagons, live music, and Historical Geocaching are just a few highlights that are intended to make you feel like you’re in the 1700’s. For more information:

June 28th Sandwich Fest-10am-4pm in Sandwich Village- Street Fair along route 130 from Town Hall to the Hoxie House featuring games, live music, crafts, dog costume parade and juried competitions including the famous “Best Sandwich in Sandwich” competition!

July 19th BASH Day 1800’s–  8am in Sandwich Village- Featuring Historical Figures from the Civil War, Military Drills, Parade to Town Hall, Quilt Show, old time Ball Game, and Contra Dancing! For more information:

July 26th SeaFest– 10am-11pm at the Sandwich Marina- This event is an old fashioned clambake along the canal with a party afterwards. Stay and watch the parade of Lights go through the canal, board ships both new and old, listen to shanty music, and see demonstrations as well as re-enactments!

August 2nd + 3rd Water Street Wing Fling– Noon-8pm at the Henry T. Wing School on Water Street- Come and enjoy Hot Air Balloons, Hay Rides, Inflatable Kid Zone, Classic Car Show, food, music, and Chalk Art!

August 2nd + 3rd + 4th Paintscaping– 8:30-11pm at Town Hall Square- 3D projection mapping- What is that? Well, it’s a revolutionary kind of large scale visual entertainment. Here’s a video example:

August 16th +17th Thornton Burgess Days– 10am-4pm at Green Briar Nature Center- Indoor and Outdoor activities for families. Admission is FREE

August 23rd BASH Day 1900’s– 9:30am-8pm in Sandwich Village- Featuring a Scavenger Hunt, Painting Lessons for kids, Vintage Car Parade and USO Block Party. For more information:

September 13th Grand Parade– 1-3pm at the Henry T. Wing School on Water Street- The biggest parade all year featuring floats, bands, organizations, teams, companies and more.

October 24th Ye Old Spirits of Sandwich Masquerade Ball– More information to come.
