Do you hear the call of your BlackBerry more often than the whisper of sweet nothings in your ear? Do you check your email from the shower? Then a weekend on Cape Cod might be exactly what you need. Here are 7 vacation tips for workaholics on the Cape.
1. There are wireless hotspots. The days of compromising your web surfing when you leave town have ended. Wireless hotspots are all over the Cape. So while you relax in the Jacuzzi, you can still Skype with your colleagues. Um...if you really want to.
2. You can improve your swing. The major networking activity of the up and coming young executive is still golf. And while you may not always have time to manage a game at home, Cape Cod has 32 major golf courses all set to help you improve your game.
3. The food is delicious. Workaholics rarely get to eat fabulous food unless they're wining and dining clients and let's face it: that can lead to heartburn of epic proportions. But a workaholic on Cape Cod can find numerous restaurants to shore you up for those long evenings of takeout.
4. It's a great place to muti-task. If you've managed to snag yourself a partner for life, why not get married on Cape Cod? After the ceremony, you can stay on for the honeymoon, saving you a trip and satisfying your craving to kill two birds with one stone.
5. You cam easily pay homage to another hardworking man. Hyannis boasts both the JKF memorial and the JFK museum.
6. It's brimming with history. This is an area in which it pays to know an obscure fact.or two, for that lull in the friendly banter at a business cocktail party.
7. You can relax. It can be hard, but taking a break is just as important to your professional life as it is to burn the midnight oil. Walk the beaches, sleep in, linger over your coffee, spend an entire day with just yourself and your significant other.
For a workaholic on Cape Cod, there are plenty of modern conveniences that make it ideal to take a vacation in this lovely spot and keep you in touch with your office. Even more, there is plenty to make you put it on the backburner. You might even want to leave your cellphone at home.
Or not.

Many visitors to the Inne have had wonderful experiences and want anyone that is planning on visiting the Cape to know what this establishment has done to change their lives for the better. Here are some of the best Belfry Inne and Bistro Zagat reviews that have been posted for others to see.
- "Have eaten here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The tasting menu has a lot of food but was absolutely incredible. Tried a wine dinner the other night that included unique and wonderful versions of cod, scallops, quail, and buffalo. Best fine dining on the Cape as far as we are concerned. Chef is formerly from the Four Seasons hotel chain."
- "Wonderfully prepared food graciously served in the recycled Corpus Christi church in downtown Sandwich. Extensive wine list. The restaurant for special occasions or if you just want great food in a quiet, elegant atmosphere."
- "By far the best on Upper Cape Cod! Once we got a reservation, everything else was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful--not pretentious. The setting was warm and comfortable--nice chairs, well spaced tables, fireplace, lovely music and the ability to carry on conversations with friends. The food was the best of all. Beautiful presentation, nice proportions and exquisite taste. Well worth the price. We will go back frequently."
- "The food is divine and the service is saintly. the setting in a converted church is beautiful."
- "Upscale dining, good food, pleasant surroundings. Well worth the visit!"
- "The new american cuisine is well executed. the church atmosphere is interesting. the service is very good. we went for the early-bird special....three courses for $25. a bargain as most of the main courses that you can choose from are about $20 ala carte. our party of 5 had a good time."
- "The artwork in Painted Lady will keep you laughing. Beautiful Victorian (Second Empire). Decorated for Christmas, even the tree ornaments kept pace with the "lady" motif. Comfortable seating, elegant surroundings, exquisite music, delicious food, pleasant and efficient staff. What more can you ask for?"

Cape Cod has a lot of great places to fish, wind surf and go fishing by day. But by night, building a fire and sitting around it spending some quality time with the love of your life is just as fun. Some fire spots are better than others, and the best Cape Cod beach fire spots are tucked away. Some are so untouched that being there makes you feel like Robinson Crusoe, which is a very romantic feeling.
If you've never been to South Beach, the trip is more than worthwhile. This highly secluded beach becomes one of the best Cape Cod beach fire spots after dark. Granted, you will have to charter a boat to get out there and back after the 4:30 ferry leaves, but the raw natural beauty of the area is incredible and the absolute solitude is epic. If you want to have some good times alone, South Beach is perfect.
If you're into something a little less rustic, Rock Harbor in Orleans is an incredible place to build a fire and relax. Right off Route 6A, Rock Harbor has an interesting distinction. This is one of the best Cape Cod beach fire spots because unlike most beaches on the east coast, it faces west. Drive up, park on a paved spot where you don't need a permit, and watch the setting sun slowly sink into the water with someone special.
If you want some quiet time on the beach, Sandy Neck Beach is another great spot. On this six mile long protected beach on the bay side, you have both low tides and some great views from the beach's sandy hills. Take some time to find the perfect spot to build your fire, and you'll be richly rewarded.
Building a little fire and getting cozy is easy in Cape Cod. With so many of the best Cape Cod beach fire spots within easy reach, you'll have a tough time picking one. Whether you're going out to pop the question, celebrating life with your eternal flame or just feeling the rush of young love, the beaches of Cape Cod are just special enough for your special someone.

1: My husband and I had a 20 year anniversary coming up and the first place that came to mind was the Belfry Inne. Not only for the food but for the Romantic packages they have and the Beautiful Rooms. We chose the Romance and Spa package last time and decided to get it again. I had to place a review for all the others out there celebrating an occasion! This is the perfect place to spend it.
2: I've been searching the web for Belfry Inne Reviews and completely shocked to find very few. Anyhow, the Belfry Inne is spectacular in every way. I cannot express how much I love this little Bed and Breakfast. I try to make a trip here twice a month and have dinner since I live close. It's nice to have the convenience of dinner at the Bistro and not having to spend the night in one of the rooms. So happy it exists!!
3: Just last summer my cousin was married here at the Belfry Inne. WOW. If everything else went wrong, I would've been pleased, still. The catering was absolutely to die for. Luckily everything else went perfectly and that's why I say, WOW. I'm now engaged and thinking about having my wedding here. We stayed at the Abbey, it was so awesome! Everyone's really nice and the food is just unforgettable. I'm a fan for life.
4: We had a family Summer retreat here this year and was outstanding. It was easy to get accommodations from the Belfry for 20 people. Chris there is so down to earth and very friendly. We all stayed a the Abbey and loved every minute of it. Its very close to the Bay. We must have taken tons of pictures. I had to capture the beauty of the Inne and the area. It's all so breathtaking. I'll take my family again and again.
5: I have been all over the web leaving Belfry Inne reviews everywhere. I love this quaint bed and breakfast. It is so posh yet very modern and comfortable. They have wine tasting which, I loved, loved, loved.Thanksgiving came around and our first thought was a trip to the Belfry Inne. They have a Thanksgiving package which is superb. It was unbelievable. I have never visited a better Bed & Breakfast in my life. Don't miss it! Now on to more Belfry Inne Reviews!

Have you ever been to a bar in a church? That’s not the sort of question you expect to hear every day. However, this is the sort of thing that you should definitely add to your list of things to do when visiting Cape Cod. The reverent atmosphere and hushed interior are soothing and conducive to a relaxing evening, whether solitary or paired.
Visiting a bar in a former church building is a paradox. It callsto mind a sort of early childhood feeling of naughtiness to have a drink in a building that once housed such lofty moral authority. This can make for an interesting experience indeed. If you’re looking for a venue in which to try it, you might want to look into the Belfry Inn.
The Belfry Inn in Sandwich, MA has many marvelous features. The Belfry is B&B that happens to be inside of a former church building. It also houses a bar. Built in 1872, the Belfry Inn is comprised of what was once a catholic church. The current owners have carefully retained all of the delightful architecture of the stately building and have incorporated it into the overall aura of the bar itself. The deep red brick of the outer walls gives way to a gentle elegance that embraces the patron and offers an afternoon or an evening of escape.
The intimate feeling can be extremely romantic, especially for newlyweds. The Belfry Inn has more than a bar-it also specializes in weddings. What better place to have a celebratory drink than in the deep recesses of a former chapel?
A visit to Cape Cod can be a unique vacation. Adding the original experience of visiting a bar in a church is something more than a run of the mill weekend away. It can sound mundane, but rather it is quite an exceptional event. And the next time someone is bragging about their fabulous weekend away, you can top them by telling them about the time you went to a bar in a church.

It's easy to find yourself completely overwhelmed by the seemingly endless sea of things to do on Cape Cod, especially if it's your first time visiting, but don't fret! Here is a handy list of my top 7 cape cod vacation tips for families! 1. Going "Lighthousing" From Race Point to Wings Neck, there are over a dozen beautiful lighthouses to visit. You can even enter almost all of the various towers that span the cape, on guided tours. Or, if you want to get your sea legs, you can go on one of the many charter cruises, available day or evening, that take you down the coast to see all of the different lighthouses in one sitting. 2. Eat a Freshly Caught Meal If you're like me, than you enjoy seafood most when it is caught fresh, and on Cape Cod, you can bet on your fish, clam, or lobster was caught not be a few hours before it reaches your taste buds! 3. There are also many bike rental locations on the cape if you'd rather bike the pristine coastline. 4. Head to the Beach! Cape Cod is full of gorgeous beach and shoreline, so why not grab your towels and hit the beach? Often regarded as some of the best in the world, the myriad of beaches offer nearly 560 miles of natural coastline. 5. Located in East Falmoth, the winery is open throughout the year, with $5 wine tastings Wednesday through Sunday. 6. The mention of a wedding on the Cape evokes images of classic, elegant ceremonies with a casual, beachside feel. While this sought-after location can come with a high price tag, you can still have an affordable Cape Cod wedding that is catered to your unique taste. There are many ways to celebrate your marriage that will allow your wedding keep the charming character of the Cod without sacrificing your whole budget. Whether you are planning a lavish affair or a more intimate family gathering, high on your list will be location. The classic Cape Cod venue of a resort with a Mansion overlooking the Bay is a luxurious location, but some couples are going for a simpler wedding. Simple does not have to mean a loss of romantic appeal. A backyard celebration offers an idyllic setting for a more intimate affair whether it is an inn, bed and breakfast, or museum gardens. Renting a public place such as a community center, park, church, gallery might require you to obtain a permit first, but it can offer a cheaper renting price than a privately-owned banquet hall would have. For couples who want to stray from the traditional route, affordable Cape Cod weddings on cruise ships are another option that is rising in popularity. You and your guests can enjoy a whale watching tour while celebrating on the water. Horse-drawn carriage tours through historical districts are another unique option. The rocky coast with its lighthouses already offers a perfect view for your wedding photos, and a sunset ceremony on any beach is sure to capture the beauty and allure of Cape Cod. The charm of Cape Cod lies with its natural beauty. Whether that means an outdoor ceremony in the gardens of an inn or a laid-back, shoeless gathering on the beach, taking advantage of open-air can give you the affordable Cape Cod wedding you've been dreaming of.

There are so many fun and exciting things to do in Cape Cod, but my top 7 Cape Cod vacation tips for families would include going fishing, going to Pirate's Cove, going Whale watching, taking the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard, visiting Marconi Beach, visiting Herring Cove Beach, and going to the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Pirate's Cove is a great place to take the kids to! Pirate's Cove is a pirate themed miniature golf course that was featured in Northwest Airlines Magazine 2008 July edition as one of "Five Must-Do's on Cape Cod." The Whale Watch Fleet of Provincetown is great and easy to walk to if you are staying Provincetown because you can take a nice stroll down the famous Commercial Street to get to there. Commercial Street is where the main shopping of Provincetown is and has a very laid back atmosphere. The Island Queen Ferry can take you from Falmouth, Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard in only thirty-five minutes. The ferry includes an enclosed lounge, outside decks, and even a full-service snack bar. The ferry sails every day starting at 9:00 from May to mid October. There are group discounts for parties of 20 or more, and children ages 3 and under travel free. Marconi Beach is a beautiful beach (there is a $15 entry fee per car) that has beautiful views from sand cliffs and great waves for surfing (or just watching other people surf)! It is a very romantic spot (especially for newlyweds) to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and even a sunset! Herring Cove Beach is also a very nice beach and it is free! Not only is it Provincetown's most popular beach, it is also a very diverse beach. It is great for people watching since there are so many different types of people that go there. Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is a great place to go hiking along the salt marshes and taking in beautiful sights of nature at its finest. The sanctuary even includes a petite natural history museum that describes the local habitat and its creatures (so it is a great place to learn too). CapeCodTravel.com is a great place to look up more fun activities to do in Cape Cod, find a great spa to unwind at, plan a wedding, or find a great Bed and Breakfast in different Cape Cod towns.

Your wedding will perhaps be the most important and memorable occasion for you, your loved ones and your friends. Having your wedding in Cape Cod will make it that much more memorable, with its beautiful and majestic scenery surrounding the many mansions, gardens, and seaside locations that you have to choose from for your special day. There are plenty of details that will go into the perfect planning and assurance that the big day will go off without a hitch, and knowing what to plan for and what to expect can help make your day a little less stressful. But what should you include in your Cape Cod wedding check list? There is so much to do in the months before the big day, and every detail will need to be executed up to the very last minute. Determining the day and location are just the beginning. There will need to be catering, flowers, reception hall booking, wedding cake decoration, music, and photography that all need to be planned for. If that wasn't enough, that is just the tip of what will need to be organized before the wedding day. Hiring a wedding planner can greatly reduce the stress of planning everything yourself, and will allow you to put your focus into other aspects of your special day. No matter who plans the actual wedding, it is of vital importance that you or the planner take every single item into careful consideration and have everything finalized before the wedding takes place. Your Cape Cod wedding check list will no doubt seem undauntingly overwhelming, but taking the necessary steps to ensure that every detail down to the cocktail napkins on the tables is properly secured will help to create the most memorable event of your life. Develop a checklist that covers every aspect of the wedding planning and things will go smoothly. On the day of the wedding, wake up early and go for a quiet walk. Clear your mind with some easy exercises, and have a light breakfast if the nerves haven't got to you yet. Spend some time with your family members and friends before the wedding to alleviate some of the stress that you may be feeling. Then take the walk down the aisle, enjoy the moment, and get ready to spend the rest of your life with that special person that means the world to you.

While visiting Cape Cod, you simply have to visit The Belfry Inne and Bistro at The Abbey. Once you've seen the outside of this beautiful and stately landmark, you immediately know that there is something very special about this magnificent piece of architecture. The Belfry Inne and Bistro is located in the most beautiful part of Cape Cod in the historical sleepy town of Sandwich Village. It is recognized by Opentable as one of the top ten fine dining restaurants in New England. It is a luxurious bed and breakfast inn that forever will be held close to the hearts of each and every guest. This grandeur landmark was previously a Catholic church lovingly restored by the proprietor, Christopher Wilson, who preserved and restored nearly every piece of the architecture during the renovation. Looking at the unique bar, you notice it is made out of the pews taken from the church. How unusual and neat is that? Behind the bar, you will see the gorgeous confessional which houses an impressive collection of wine and spirits. Simply elegant but with a twist. The bistro is on the first floor and when you enter the establishment, the atmosphere is ever so elegant with a touch of coziness. It's warm and inviting and the palatial colors chosen throughout make you feel ever so calm and serene. There is a small and intimate fireplace bar and while you are being seated, you will notice each table has it's own stated elegance adorned with crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins. But it gets better! During dinner, the piano bar offers a smooth and gentle ambience to gently sway the patrons and if the evening is cool, you are lucky enough to enjoy a warm and cozy fire which only adds to the tranquility of your visit. Again, simply elegant but with a twist. The Belfry Inne and Bistro is simply elegant but with a twist...the twist? The twist is this: A lovingly restored architectural landmark that commands attention to those patrons who bless this location. The style and sophistication of The Belfry Inne and Bistro caters to an array of clientele, but the difference is the non-pretentious sans upper-crust mentality which just doesn't exist here. To put it bluntly, The Belfry Inne and Bistro is exceptionally 'user friendly.'

Your Cape Cod wedding will perhaps be the most important and memorable occasion for you, your loved ones and your friends. In order to plan and execute the perfect celebration, you will need a checklist of what will need to be completed by the wedding day. Starting from the time you get engaged and up to a year before your Cape Cod wedding takes place, you will need to start a wedding folder for all of your Cape Cod wedding information, ideas and suggestions, start figuring out a budget, picking a wedding party, send out invitations, hire a planner, and reserve a spot for the big day. A strong start to planning will help make everything else easier down the road. About nine months before the wedding, you will want to hire a photographer, hire caterers, book entertainment, pick out your wedding dress or tuxedo, and register at retailers so your guests know where to shop for you. Six months before your wedding day, you will want to make sure you hire a florist, make arrangements for transportation to and from the wedding, and start planning your honeymoon. Somewhere around four months before the wedding, you should book your rehearsal dinner venue, make sure that the wedding invitations have been answered, pick out your cake, select music, choose a hair and makeup artist, and finalize the readings that will take place. Anywhere from two months before to the week of the wedding you should start finalizing preparations such as purchasing rings, making sure all your vendors are set to go, meet with the photographer, review songlists, have a bachelor or bachelorette party if you desire, start stocking the bar, and assigning seating for your guests. Then the most important part of writing your vows should be completed. When the day of your wedding finally arrives, you will be able to rest easy knowing that every step you have taken since the moment your became engaged to plan for the perfect wedding has all led up to the events taking place ont he most memorable day of your life. You will have enough stress to deal with on your wedding day, but knowing that you have planned properly will help alleviate some of that stress so you can focus on what matters most - the fact that you are about to spend the rest of your life with the person you love most in this world.

Cape Cod is an excellent location for foodies who love a variety of cuisine types. If you've never been to Cape Cod before, or have never sampled area cuisine, you've missed a genuine treat. While the Cape is most famous for its seafood, there are several other great types of cuisine available, including exciting fusion cuisine. The Cape is a fun place to visit in the context of a foodie tour.

Here are 7 Cape Cod vacation tips for foodies:
1. Remember that many of the cape cod restaurants, including those found in hotels, that are on the Cape operate on a seasonal schedule. Many are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If you're sure you want to visit a particular restaurant, make sure that it will be open during the time you'll be there. The same applies to planning on staying at a particular hotel for a wedding, honeymoon or romantic vacation.
2. If you love seafood, it's good to become acquainted with the two types of clams that are served. This is one of the most popular of the 7 Cape Cod vacation tips for foodies, because clams are considered to be a New England staple. Quahogs have a hard shell, and might be served raw or steamed. Larger quahogs are often used in chowder. Steamer clams are soft-shelled. These are often served steamed or fried.
3. When you decide to have lobster, it's often best to select a restaurant that allows you to choose your own lobster or to make sure the lobster was caught by a local boat. Active lobsters are generally healthy, and offer good meat. Smaller lobsters are somewhat more preferable, because the meat will be tender.
4. If you're seeking a more romantic trip, there are several restaurants that offer special touches for couples. Look for restaurants that offer deck dining, with a nice sunset view. If you are looking for a great restaurant in Sandwich try the Belfry Bistro at the Belfry Inne.
5. Many B and B's offer nice dining experiences for couples. Although not all are open to guests year-round, many do offer discounted rates during the off-season. This includes spring and fall.
6. Some couples may prefer lighter food late at night. Many Cape Cod Fine Dining restaurants offer tapas-style appetizers on their menus. These can be quite filling, without being too heavy.
7. Many couples who are getting married and already have kids want them to be involved. Many restaurants offer a bit of something for everyone. This allows couples to dine in a romantic setting while keeping their children happy.

Cape Cod National Seashore offers over 40,000 acres of wildlife preserves that stretch out over 40 miles with spectacular and breathtaking views of salt marshes, dunes, and rippling beach grass. While you should limit your swimming to the calmer bay side waters of the Cape, more skilled and adventurous swimmers can tackle the strong currents and rip tides that the Atlantic Ocean throws at them. Along the seashore there are also many hiking trails that will challenge any hiker, and there is even a visually impaired hiking trail equipped with guide ropes and Braille markings to let people know what is surrounding them. The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is an 1,100 acre paradise for those who love bird watching, staring out at the bay, canoe and kayak trips, and lavish walking trails. And for peddlers that can't stand to go anywhere without their bikes, there is the 25 mile trail that runs from Dennis to South Wellfleet and is sure to be one of the most memorable bike rides you've ever had. Or if you bring the whole family, you can take the Oceanquest cruise, a 90 minute guided tour that caters to children and teaches them about oceanography, lets them pull up a lobster trap, and even drag a plankton net. They can learn about the chemistry of seawater and many more great ocean dwelling facts that they are sure to remember for the rest of their lives. Regardless of what you are planning for your Cape Cod style vacation, you are sure to enjoy the many sights and sounds the Cape has to offer.

There are many tips and valuable resources on how to plan your Cape Cod vacation, and with the amount of activities that are available to you, you will want to take in as much useful information as you can. There are many things to take into consideration such as time of year, how many of your family will be going with you, and what kinds of activities you are looking to enjoy. Cape Cod is one of the most beautiful spots that the East Coast has to offer and with its amazing beaches, bikepaths, and lighthouses that scatter the shore, you can experience a new and exciting adventure each and every day of your vacation. When you finally sit down and decide how to plan your Cape Cod vacation, you will need to figure out several determining factors. If you are looking to go swimming, then the summer months would obviously be a better time to visit, whereas if you are looking for fewer tourists, then Autumn would be an ideal time to plan your vacation. You will of course need to decide where you will be staying, and there are many beautiful and historic hotels to choose from. If you are on a budget when it comes to sleeping accommodations, there are other moderately prices motels as well. Here are some of the best Belfry Inne and Bistro trip advisor reviews that have been posted for others to see.
"Lovely stay at the Belfry Inne and Bistro"
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in August and had a lovely stay in the charming "Painted Lady" building. The staff was very helpful, our room on the top floor was comfortable and quiet, and the included breakfast was a cut above most B and Bs on Cape Cod. We ate dinner there one night, and it was top notch. The location couldn't be better; we walked to the beach (bit of a hike) and walked around the town, including to the Grist Mill and Glass Museum. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, chatting with fellow visitors, and watching people stop to take photos of the "Painted Lady." It was a nice respite.
"Heaven with a quirky twist"
Firstly Sandwich is a beautiful village and nice folks. Now the Inne - fabulous !! The Inne has three ''individual houses'' and our room, know as Lee was in The Painted Lady. Everything was big, room , bed and the biggest bathroom you have ever see. Lovely furnishings and very clean. Each part of the Inne has its own character and all must be perfect to stay in. We ate in the Innes Bistro two nights as the menu looked very inviting, it did not disappoint as food excellent.. Would have dined in the third night but ''Irene'' had tampered with the power supply Very friendly people working there who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place to stay.
"Incredible and can't wait to go back"
We spent 2 nights at this beautiful Inn. The grounds were to meticulous. The food was incredible especially the breakfast. The staff was very kind and pleasant. Planning to go back in the fall!
